On May 29, 2015, after a courageous fight, Mike Duda lost the battle with cancer. The strength and courage he showed each and every day was an inspiration to all. Over the last 4 years I have been competing in Ironman races in Mike's honor and after each race, I have given the finisher medal to his son Colin. So now on April 27, 2019, I'll compete in Ironman Texas and bringing home one more medal. I’m also be collecting donations to the North Carolina Firefighter Support Network so help those courageous firefighters that are being diagnosed with cancer every day.
